Day 7 â Montecatini Terme đ
Today is our final day in Montecatini Terme, and it was exactly what it needed to beâslow, easy, and completely relaxed.
Some of us headed out on an optional marble excursion, while others stayed in town and explored on foot. A few of us, myself included, made our way up the funicular⌠and wowâthere truly are no words. The views on the way up, and especially from the top in Montecatini Alto, were absolutely jaw-dropping.
Every single day here in Tuscany, Iâve found myself in awe of the natural beauty surrounding us. Itâs something that stays with you long after youâve seen it.
While up in Montecatini Alto, we wandered through charming little shops, stopped for lunch, and simply took it all in. Halfway through today, I realized Iâve lost count of how many times Iâve felt such deep and genuine appreciation for my life.
I am so incredibly thankful to have met Muriel Crydermanâtruly a beautiful person, inside and out. Through her, Iâve been introduced to so many genuinely wonderful people, and that in itself is such a gift.
One lovely couple even surprised me with a hand fan, which I absolutely adore. đ It was so thoughtful and deeply appreciated⌠and perfect timing too, because my Barcelona fan officially retired after some very enthusiastic use đ
Another moment that truly touched my heart was when one of the ladies in our group gave me a hug and shared how much sheâs been enjoying this trip. She mentioned that even though sheâs travelling solo, she has never once felt alone. Sheâs felt completely includedâpart of something specialâfrom the very beginning. Thereâs this unspoken sense that everyone is looking out for one another, and itâs created such a warm, supportive, and connected group.
There is just so much positive energy surrounding this group⌠so much happiness, connection, and genuine joy. Itâs something you can feel in every conversation, every shared laugh, every moment together. I truly feel so incredibly blessed. đ
Weâve come to the end of the main tour, and tomorrow we head out to Sorrento to explore the Amalfi Coast and Capriâanother beautiful chapter to look forward to.
This past week has given me so many moments of appreciation⌠more than I can count. And today, as I reflect, I honestly struggle to put into words the depth of gratitude, joy, and happiness I feel. To witness how much everyone is enjoying themselves⌠to see the connections, the laughter, and the shared experiencesâit fills my heart in a way that words canât fully capture.
Weâre looking forward to our farewell dinner tonight here in Montecatini Terme, a time to celebrate this incredible week together before we head out tomorrow morning.
What an incredible and beautiful group of people to experience our very first (and definitely not last!) Sip, Savour & Stretch
My heart is so full. đ
