Souvenirs that tell a story are the best kind. Personalized artwork at Walt Disney World is one of those experiences many guests overlook. But they make incredible souvenirs and even better memories. Guests can get things like:

*Silhouette portraits
*Caricatures
*Personalized parasols

Many families display these items at home for YEARS after their trip. I’m not so sure you can say that about many other types of souvenirs.

We have a personalized parasol with my daughter's name from her very first trip, along with first sets of ears for both children. Most recently we had a silhouette portrait done and I have been wanting to get myself a personalized pen on my next visit.

You’ve seen ‘em, but did you know this? You know those adorable polka dot vehicles you see around Walt Disney World property? Those are Minnie Vans! There is an additional cost, but it’s such a fun splurge for getting around property privately. Who can resist the cranked up A/C in the summer heat, super friendly Cast Member drivers, no waiting for other guests to fill a bus! But did you know you can use this as your airport transportation too? What a magical way to start your vacation! Here’s what you need to know (because it does work very differently from the normal service):

The current cost is approximately $249 USD each way (plus most include gratuity).

It’s ONLY available to Deluxe, Deluxe DVC Villas, and Club Level guests (Coronado Springs Resort is the only non-Deluxe resort that offers Club Level).

There is a maximum of 6 guests (and 2 complimentary car seats).

Accessible vans are also available.

You normally order a Minnie Van through the Lyft app but this has to be called in, in advance (from 60 days up until 2 days prior).

Disneyland has a feeling you can’t quite explain. One of the reasons Disneyland feels so special is simple. Walt Disney built it. He walked the park. He watched guests experience attractions. He adjusted things constantly. It was his baby and he was the master at creating magical experiences that touch the hearts of adults and children alike.

Many of the classic attractions guests love today still reflect that original vision and are still operational at Disneyland.

If feeling close to the Disney origin story is on your list, you’ve got to get to Disneyland. The beauty of a Disneyland vacation is you could feel like you did a TON in just 3 nights. Want to feel like you did it all? Five nights would do it. You’ll never hear that about Walt Disney World, am I right?
