Canadian author Louise Penny has created a dedicated community of readers, posting in busy Facebook groups, attending live events and even traveling on literary pilgrimages to the Eastern Townships in Quebec to see the spots that inspired her work.

One of our beautiful stops on the tour...😊

Visited the Haskell Opera House yesterday, then met Kirk at Manoir Hovey for lunch on the terrasse. Gorgeous day. We'd finished a wonderful lunch, when this man appeared with a dessert. His name is Olivier (!!) and he's a sous chef at the manoir. They've created a dessert inspired by the Three Pines books. It was delicious!!! I could live in it....on it...

The newest member of the Brome Lake Books family😊

And, speaking of Goldens, introducing Poppy! The bookstore dog at Brome Lake Books. Yesterday was her first day. Here she is, 8 week old little girl in Danny's arms. They're socializing her, and would love for Poppy to meet you.
