We have some very exiting news to share, please stay tuned for it!

But first we need the people of Facebook to do their magic ❤️

We’re looking to hire a young local entrepreneur from the Delta area to help with mowing and w**d whacking a small plot (approx. 550 sq ft) once a week.
Timing is flexible—we’re easy to work with and just looking for someone consistent and dependable.

We’d love to give this opportunity to someone who’s just getting started or building their own small business.
Must have your own equipment.

As we pause to reflect on this season of gratitude, we’re feeling incredibly thankful for the amazing community that’s grown around Gather & Go Adventures. From early morning paddles and nature walks to family days on the water and cozy chats by the shore — every moment has meant so much to us.

Your support, encouragement, and friendship have turned our little dream into something truly special — and made our big dream of building Gather & Go Adventures a beautiful reality. What started as an idea to bring people together outdoors and have more time together as a family has become a community filled with connection, laughter, and shared adventure.

🎣 Wrap Up Your Weekend on the Water – Tomorrow at 5 PM

Looking for a great way to close out the weekend? Come join our Sunday Night Kayak Fishing Club — a relaxed, friendly evening on the water where everyone’s welcome. We head out at 5:00 PM to catch the best light (and hopefully a few fish!) before the sun goes down.

🚣 All experience levels welcome. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned angler, we’ve got you covered:
– $25 gets you everything you need — lifejacket ,kayak, paddle, and fishing gear.
– Already have your own kayak and tackle? Join us for free and bring your own setup.

The season’s winding down, so don’t miss the chance to enjoy these Sunday nights with a great group of people. Check out the photos from last week’s catches — this is what Sundays are all about!

What a beautiful way to spend a Sunday morning!
The fall colours were showing off their best shades, and the company was just as wonderful.

There’s something so special about slowing down, paddling together, and soaking in the crisp autumn air with good people by your side.
Grateful for the laughter, the conversation, and the simple joy of being surrounded by such beauty—both in nature and in the friends we share it with. 🌾🍁

September sunshine is here, and our paddling season is gently drifting toward its close.

With just a few weeks left on the lake, it’s the perfect time to soak up these golden days and enjoy atleast one more adventure 🛶✨

This season has been filled with so much fun — from families laughing on the water to first-time paddlers discovering the joy of gliding across the lake. Every trip has added its own special memory to our year, and we’re so grateful to everyone who joined us. 💛

Now, as autumn peeks around the corner, the lake is calmer than ever!

So, whether you’re paddling with loved ones or heading out on a quiet solo trip, it’s the perfect chance to reconnect before the colder season arrives 🍂.

There’s a special kind of calm this time of year — glassy water, crisp air, and the beauty of nature shifting toward fall 🍂.

🌟 River 🌟

This summer we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming River as a student volunteer, and he quickly became a highlight of our season. On time, kind, intelligent, and always ready to help — River made every day run smoother and brighter with his positive spirit and initiative.

We were so impressed when he first showed up at our door with his resume in hand, asking if he could help. And he ended every single day with “I’ll help whenever and wherever I can.” That kind of dedication and generosity is rare.

As some of you may have noticed, I am quite pregnant — and that made River’s support even more meaningful. The bigger I got, the more he seemed to step in, always finding ways to make things easier without ever being asked. His awareness and willingness to help never went unnoticed, and it truly made a difference to me personally.

River dedicated an incredible 53 volunteer hours before even starting high school, tomorrow he heads into Grade 9!

Everyone who crossed paths with River enjoyed his presence and walked away impressed by his character.

As a community, we couldn’t be more proud to have had him by our side this summer — not only as a helper, but as a friend. River, you’ve set an inspiring example of what it means to give back, and we can’t wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for you. 🌿👏
