Day 4/4 and that’s a wrap!
Salmon slowed down a bit for us, but he’d rather some white meat anyways.
“Fish are just a bonus” as Tony would say.
Another beautiful day out there, and managed to chill while we jigged for lings. 10/10 experience with my guest, and I’ll see ya again next year!

Day 3/4
Tony, my new best buddy from Arizona, had another limit of salmon with a spring and two coho! He managed to grab a couple nice copper rockfish, adding to the food stash!

We released 4 beautiful oversized springs! (kings for the Yankees) and played a ton of smaller fish. It was another beautiful day in Beecher Bay, nonstop action in August!

Out for a little night bite while I have the time! Slammed some nice springs off the bat!

Tony loaded up on some meat to take home!
Couldn’t keep fish off the rods and the poor guy needed a break, so we went jigging for a bit. Released a couple nice oversized fish, and relaxed in the sun! See ya in a couple days for the next trip!

I knew I had an absolute pro when Will showed up with his own rod & mooching reel! He fought his fish with ease, and had a blast getting to celebrate his 11th birthday with a nice one! 🎉
Even helped cleaning the fish and crabs for a delicious fresh b-day dinner. Happy Birthday Will!

Salmon fishing was crazy yesterday! Mother Nature had us cancel our second day out, but the third we decided to fight back in the wind, and it paid off! Chris, Mike & Brian all limited out Chinook early on this half day, with a nice haul of crabs 🦀

Tons of action on the rods, with a few big wild springs & smaller ones we released, there was no shortage of fun. Can’t wait to take the boys from Ontario out again!

Early day out there! Done halibut fishing by 8:30am Chris & Mike from Ontario reeled in those beauties and slayed it in some beautiful sunshine ☀️ They even let me get one for myself !
Hit the bay after and the bite was on! Released a couple of nice big salmon, grabbed a small spring for the bbq tonight 🍣
Couldn’t ask for better weather and company! 🎣
