As many of you may have seen, Airbnb has donated $175,000 to - an amazing local charity working to provide shelter, support, and safety to women and children escaping violence.

We’re honoured to share that one of our owners at Hostbnb, Nicole, is a volunteer Airbnb Community Leader and moderator of the Barrie & Area Airbnb Host Community on Facebook. It was this local host group that was selected this year to nominate a charity to receive support through the Airbnb Community Fund - and we were proud to see Huronia Transition Homes chosen. It was truly humbling to see our community’s voice help bring this opportunity forward. 🙌
