Another little museum in North Sydney Cape Breton.
North Sydney Heritage Museum had lots of local history and artifacts including the 1919 La France Fire Truck that served it’s entire service life there. Purchased for $5000 new, approximately $96,000 today for what would be very primitive to what we use now.

Kristiane’s mom is part of the group trying to save the large light house. Erosion for the water has taken over 300ft of land away inching closer to danger.

Just down from the the monument was a Bald Eagle, such a beautiful bird.

Remembrance should not be one day for those that serve. Thank you to all that keep Canada safe and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice 🇨🇦💜
