The Forgotten Pyramids of Abusir in Cairo, Egypt are part of an ancient necropolis that served as a burial site for Fifth Dynasty pharaohs. Among them, the pyramid of Pharaoh Niuserre stands on the left, while the pyramid of Neferirkare is on the right.

THE PYRAMID OF NEFERIRKARE

• Built for Pharaoh Neferirkare Kakai, the second ruler buried at Abusir.

• Originally designed as a step pyramid, later converted into a true pyramid.

• The tallest structure in the Abusir necropolis, towering over the surrounding monuments.

THE PYRAMID OF NIUSERRE
