Working with wildlife is what I do everyday, studying animal behaviour and biology in the field allows us to understand how species react and respond to various environmental conditions. Capturing this behaviour on film allows us to document this behaviour with real life situations. In this photo I was able to observe after many hours the common loon feeding on crayfish on a remote lake in the backcountry of Algonquin Park. The loons primary food source is mainly fish, and will resort to other aquatic species when necessary. This is another amazing Algonquin Experience from the Algonquin Wildlife Research Station
