The planning phase of a Europe trip has a way of starting as something exciting and slowly becoming something you dread opening a tab for. By the time most people come to me they've already spent hours on it and they're more confused and less confident than when they started. This is not a sign that they did something wrong, it's just what happens when you try to make a high-stakes decision using the entire internet as your research tool.

Handing it off is not admitting defeat. It's just a better use of everyone's time.

The clients who come to me saying they’re “not really an all-inclusive person” are the ones I have the most fun proving wrong—because what they usually mean is that they’ve either had a bad experience at the wrong property, or they’ve built an assumption based on what the category used to look like.

There is a tier of all-inclusive that changes that conversation entirely.

Here’s what I’ve been recommending to the skeptics lately:

🌴 Hotel Xcaret Arte, Riviera Maya — Part luxury resort, part cultural escape, with incredible dining, beautiful design and the Xcaret parks and experiences included.

🌴 ATELIER Playa Mujeres, Mexico — Sleek, modern and genuinely upscale, with the kind of food, cocktails and atmosphere that feels much more like a luxury boutique hotel.

🌴 Impression Moxché by Secrets, Riviera Maya — Huge suites, personal butler service, rooftop pools and elevated dining make this feel intimate, exclusive and nowhere near “typical all-inclusive.”

🌴 Cayo Levantado Resort, Samaná — A secluded private-island escape built around wellness, nature and authentic Dominican culture instead of crowded pools and generic entertainment.

🌴 Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Mexico — The one I recommend when food is the objection: exceptional service, seriously impressive dining and a true luxury experience that also happens to be all-inclusive.

If you’ve written off all-inclusives based on a past experience, it might be worth a second look with someone who knows which ones are actually worth it.

My DMs are always open. ✈️💕

The European hotel research spiral is a special kind of exhausting because the more time you put into it the less confident you feel, and at some point you realize you have seventeen tabs open and a worse sense of what to do than you did two hours ago.

The conversation where someone tells you what to book and why, based on actually knowing the properties and knowing how you travel, takes about fifteen minutes and closes all the tabs permanently. That's what I'm here for. Link in bio if you're ready to stop researching and start actually going.

Destination wedding planning has a lot of moving parts but the thing that derails couples the most is the ton of opinions from people who mean well but are not the ones getting married. Everyone has a strong view about where you should go, what time of year makes sense, how many people you should invite, and what the whole thing should look like. Taking all of that in while trying to stay connected to what you two actually want is one of the harder parts of the process.

The couples who get clear on their own vision first and treat outside input as optional rather than required tend to have a much smoother planning experience, and a wedding that actually feels like them when they look back at it ten years later. If you have questions, my DMs are open.

The most searched honeymoon spots get searched for a reason.

But there’s a real price to paying peak-season rates for a resort that’s also packed with every other couple who found the same list you did.

What you actually want is the private beach dinner, the slow mornings, the suite that feels like it was picked with the two of you in mind.

That experience exists, and it does not require fighting for a pool chair in a sea of matching honeymoon bracelets.

I know which properties still feel intimate, which dates are worth avoiding, and which resorts are genuinely worth the splurge.

DM me with your honeymoon dates, and I’ll help you lock in the right fit before the best options are gone.

FIVE COUNTRIES. THREE GENERATIONS. ONE TRIP I’LL NEVER FORGET. 🌍💕

As we head home, I want to thank Mom and Amelia for putting up with my crazy itineraries, endless walking, constant photo stops and all the times I confidently said, “It’s not far!” 😂

Thank you for embracing this adventure with me and making it even more special than I imagined.

Everything I do is for Mom, Amelia and Matt. I want them to experience the world, discover new places and collect memories that will stay with us forever.

And that is also why I do what I do for my clients. I want to see the world, learn it firsthand and then help other families experience how beautiful it can be.

The world is enormous, fascinating and full of so much more than our little corner of it—and I want to show it to everyone. 🌍

Thank you, Mom and Amelia, for taking this adventure with me. And thank you, Matt, for always supporting my crazy ideas, even when you aren’t coming along for them. 😂

Now let’s go home—before I start planning the next one. ✈️💕

OUR FINAL FULL DAY IN EUROPE 🇵🇹

We’re exploring Alfama, Belém and Lisbon’s waterfront, riding the historic yellow tram and eating as many pastel de nata as we can reasonably justify.

We’re also heading to Time Out Market, which is perfect because everyone can choose something different—and I can sample everybody’s food under the pretence of “research.” 😂

After two weeks together, we’ve mastered planes, trains, mountains and canals.

Now we just need to survive Lisbon’s hills!

DID WE JUST WALK INTO A FAIRYTALE?! 🏰

Today we’re visiting Sintra and colourful Pena Palace!

This is the day Amelia gets to explore a real palace, although I haven’t explained that purchasing a ticket does not technically make her the new owner. 😂

We’re also seeing Sintra’s historic centre and the beautiful Portuguese coastline.

Place your bets: will Amelia refuse to leave the palace, will Mom walk us all into the ground, or will I stop every twelve seconds for another picture?

FROM SWISS MOUNTAINS TO LISBON SUNSETS ✈️

Today is mostly a travel day. We’re enjoying one final morning in Zurich before flying to Lisbon this evening.

Travel days aren’t glamorous, but waking up in Switzerland and falling asleep beneath Lisbon’s terracotta rooftops is still pretty incredible.

The real challenge will be fitting three people—and everything we’ve somehow accumulated—back into our suitcases. 😂

Next stop: Portugal! 🇵🇹
