There are parts of us that we carry quietly. Memories we haven’t put into words. Feelings we haven’t made space for. Stories that live somewhere between the heart and the body, waiting for us to slow down enough to listen. 🤎
What does it look like to make room for your words? 🤎
The Heart Remembers is a gentle, guided experience weaving together cacao, embodied movement, intuitive writing, and optional sharing in a beautiful setting by Lake Atitlán.
Here’s what our two hours together will look like:
Arrive & share cacao
We’ll gather, settle in, and share cacao as an invitation to slow down, arrive in the present moment, and connect with ourselves and the group.
Move & reconnect with the body
Through gentle guided movement, we’ll create space to notice what we’re feeling, soften into the body, and arrive at the page from a more grounded place.
Write from within
With simple prompts as our guide, you’ll be invited to explore a memory, write a letter, follow a feeling, or let a story or poem emerge. There’s no right way to write, and no writing experience is needed.
Share & listen
We’ll open a space for anyone who wishes to read their words aloud and for everyone to listen with presence and care. Sharing is always optional; you’re equally welcome to keep your writing private.
This isn’t a writing class, and you don’t need to arrive with anything figured out. It’s an invitation to pause, listen inward, and give language to whatever is ready to meet the page.
Bring a notebook, a pen, and yourself exactly as you are.
