On rainy days when the river shuts down I offer wine tours, brewery and micro distillery tours. Also in the off season as well.

In trying some of the other tourist attractions last year I learned a couple cool things here.

1) if you get a ticket for the Wibit in penticton your ticket is transferable if you go to Osoyoos, peachland or Kelowna if it’s same day

2) when you rent an electric bike from E-Kruise they will deliver it to your starting point and pick it up there as well when you’re done so you don’t have to waist the energy on the battery or the time from biking from their location

3) hoodoo adventures does kayak wine and picnic tours which are super unique and fun

4) we have glow in the dark stand up paddle boarding at night here in penticton

I love when I get time off to be a tourist in my own town and try out all the things… these were definitely stand outs to me, although there is many other great tourist attractions and things to do, these are definitely some of my favourites…. I will be sure to post up some of the other great attractions in penticton and surrounding areas.

I think this is amazing. I wish they would have contacted me as I would have loved to be a part of this. Next year I will be reaching out to them in hopes that I can put a crew together both on behalf of Float Penticton and on behalf of the PIB.

Despite cold weather and rain, over 60 volunteers gathered Sunday to clean up the Okanagan River channel in Penticton.

There is busier parts of the day than others. If you don’t want to be in the heavy crowds either start early betwee 10:00-11:30am or start later towards 3:30-4:00pm

I wish they had scheduled start times and limitations to how many people can leave every half hour during these times but they don’t and so be safe and keep your distance everyone.

Hello and good day Penticton Peoples, Today I will be opening up a portion of Float Penticton.

It is with the decision of recent Covid-19 cases throughout the Okanagan that we will not be operating our shuttles or renting our party rafts and tubes. We believe that circulating unmarked tubes into a multiple Province wide demographic is not in the best interest of the public or our staff and management.

At this time we will only be selling the convenience of compressed air and unused flotation devices to purchase. We are encouraging people to bring their own flotations this year or to purchase unused ones and to take them home as this will be the best way to eliminate cross contamination.

As Locals, most of you have your own Flotations and pumps anyways and I think that’s a great thing and so please stay safe out there and keep your distance from the crowds.

We will be located at the big parking lot on riverside drive next to the river entrance this season.

Thank you for the people who support local businesses and once again stay safe everyone I care about you all!
