Gina is an Equine Canada Certified Level II Hunter/Jumper Coach, a Level III Theory Coach, and is pursuing her Level III Dressage Coaching Certificate. Gina's vast experience includes three years studying and riding with former Canadian Equestrian Jumper Coach, Frank Sellinger in Alberta before moving to Pennsylvania where she trained with International Dressage Clinician and author, Paul Belasik.

Gina was able to focus on Classical Dressage training methods which led her to combining her knowledge and passions of fitness and riding into her winning program: Equifit Services

Gina is a BCRPA Certified Group and Third Age Fitness Instructor, a Yoga Instructor and a Specialist Instructor in Pilates. She graduated from Capilano University where she majored in Lifestyle Councelling and Kinesiology. She later studied Theatre and Dance at Simon Fraser University, all the while pursung her career as a Fitness Consultant. Gina has worked extensively for various Recreation commissions, including The Fitness Group and, at the Vancouver Y.M.C.A., where she worked with Doctors and Physiotherapists to develop specialty modules including Back Care and Posture Assessment. Gina has extensive education and experiene in body and back health, and is now pursuing her Teacher Training Credentials for Yoga and Pilates. As a Fitness Instuctor in many disciplines, Gina enjoys teaching fitness classes to all ages and abilities, and is a wealth of information and motivation to all her fitness students.

Wow, wow, wow — what a weekend!
Cielo is officially partied out!

We made our return to the show ring after a 5-year break, and what better way to celebrate than alongside my unicorn’s birthday — 24 years old and still rocking it!

The show was beautifully organized and felt like slipping into a warm bath — so familiar and comforting. Thank you, Courtenay Cadora, for making it such a special experience.

This adventure came with more than just nostalgia…
Cielo and I placed FIRST and won the FEI Prix St. Georges Championship! 🏆✨

To top it all off, we were spoiled with a gorgeous gift basket featuring:

Celebrating the 24th birthday of my unicorn, Cielo, while showing FEI at the Courtenay Cadora Summer Classic Dressage Show — couldn’t ask for more. 💖🦄

A huge thank you to Courtenay Cadora Dressage Club, the entire show committee, all the incredible volunteers, Angie Szokol, and judge extraordinaire Jayne Essig for making this such a special event.

Every Coach Needs a Coach Too 🙂🐴

As some of you may know, I’ve been riding with Ron Postleb — and I’d love to introduce you properly to the incredible coach behind the scenes! 💪✨

With over 35 years of international dressage experience , Ron is a true master of the craft. He earned his German master’s degree in horsemanship (🎓 Reitlehrer FN) in 1980 and has competed successfully at many FEI Championships. His training was influenced by legends like Dr. Reiner Klimke, George Theodorescu, and Jo Hinneman .

Ron has built a strong reputation as a top-level clinician, teaching at equestrian centers across the U.S. and Canada 🇺🇸🇨🇦. Fun fact: in 1991, he even served on the national committee that re-wrote the dressage tests for the Canadian Equestrian Federation.

His philosophy? That riding should always bring joy to both horse and rider — but it’s a joy that comes from dedication, precision, and lots of hard work 💥💯.

Ron teaches all levels, from Basic to Grand Prix 🥇— and trust me, every session is packed with insight, inspiration, and growth.
