Thank you Linda Santerre for this beautiful water colour of St. Aidan’s church in Sutton Junction. It is signed by Diana Dyer but I don’t know when it was painted. I love it!

St. Aidan’s Church Airbnb
For those of you visiting the area, there are some lovely places to stay. And something special has just become available. The church that inspired St. Thomas’s in the books is in the tiny village of Sutton Junction. It’s where Michael and I would go for Christmas Eve services. It’s called St Aidan’s. It was sold a few years ago to friends of ours, Jennifer and PJ. During the pandemic their project was to renovate it into an Airbnb. It is finally available. I went to see it recently and it is amazing! I know many of you have gone to take photos of the outside, well, now you can stay inside.

I’d never, ever recommend it if I didn’t know the place, know Jennifer and PJ, and know it will be a great experience.
