They invited fewer people — so they could enjoy more of the night.

After their Stanley Park ceremony and a little time away for portraits, everyone came together at Riley’s for dinner.

No oversized ballroom.
No endless tables of people they barely had time to talk to.

Just good food, candlelight, family, close friends — and a room that actually felt full of energy.

This is what we love about smaller weddings.

It’s not about doing less.
It’s about having more time for the people, the food, the conversations, and the moments you actually want to remember.

In between the ceremony and dinner, they made a little time just for themselves 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️

No guests.
No timeline to manage.
No one waiting for them.

Just the two of them walking around Vancouver, grabbing a few quiet moments before heading back to celebrate.

And honestly, some of our favourite wedding photos happen exactly here — in the part of the day that doesn’t feel like a “wedding activity” at all.

A coffee shop.
A city sidewalk.
A little sunlight.
And finally, a chance to just be together.

A smaller guest list doesn’t make the wedding feel smaller.

Around 60 of their closest family and friends gathered at Stanley Park Pavilion — and honestly, that was more than enough.

No rushing around trying to say hi to 150 people.
No spending the whole day feeling like they were hosting an event.

Just a beautiful ceremony, the people they actually wanted beside them, and enough time to really enjoy their own wedding.

After the ceremony, we disappeared into Vancouver with them for a little while before dinner — just the two of them, finally having a moment to take it all in.

And then came a very good dinner at Riley’s. 🤍

Maybe a wedding doesn’t need to be bigger.
Maybe it just needs to feel more like you.
