As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend here in Canada, let us give thanks for our ancestors who came before us. Without them, we wouldn't have our identities, our freedoms, our families. We have so much to be thankful for!
(while I'm not religious, I did feel this biblical passage was poignant.)
