I have a full-time position at a wonderful company now and it's keeping me on my toes, plus I am now a single mother so busy, busy! As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend here in Canada, let us give thanks for our ancestors who came before us. Without them, we wouldn't have our identities, our freedoms, our families. We have so much to be thankful for!
(while I'm not religious, I did feel this biblical passage was poignant.)

Due to some timing with family events, I will not be able to make the genealogy talk in August at the Ottawa House in Parrsboro, but they have asked me to speak at a future one. They hope to hold them on a monthly basis. :)
