Big Changes coming to Art of Animation resort.
Disney has announced refurbishment plans for Art of Animation resort.
1st announcement applies to Little Mermaid standard rooms.
They will be following the refurbishment results from other value resorts.
MURPHY table beds. Each room will now have a murphy bed plus bed instead of 2 beds.
As a traveler of 1 or 2 for most of my trips, I LOVE THIS!!!
*some changes coming for the suites too...my WISH is that the sofa beds become murphy bed couches like in most of the other resorts. The sofa beds NEED an upgrade. They do the job (as I witnessed from my recent vacation) but a murphy bed would have been so much more comfortable.

This will happen in phases starting in summer 2027. The resort will stay open.
