I'm not sure how many know this but I got my start as a Disney Vacation Planner quite a few years ago. My parent agency was an American one and full disclosure, I didn't know that it was technically against Ontario law to have an American parent agency at that time. I spent a few years doing that before Ontario kindly requested (ahem) that I cease and desist and then I took a break. But those years were some of the best of my life. I worked with other agents to whom I still speak today, had clients from all over the world, and I loved nothing better than to get those amazing trip reports when my clients returned from one of the Disney Destinations. It's been tough to get started back up under my new Canadian parent agency, but yesterday I was reminded why I do this. Locals know that I also work for our family auto glass company in the office. We're right next door to a dealership and one of my first travel clients from years ago, Jay, is the service manager there. We do all the glass work for this dealership. Yesterday Jay popped into the garage and I let him know that I am now selling Disney travel again, and he said "That's still the best family vacation we ever had!" It made me feel amazing that I helped contribute to their best family memories. BEST JOB EVER!!

I know it's only July but I'm starting to think ahead to the Christmas season. It's truly one of my favourite times to visit. I love all the decorations, the Very Merry Christmas Party, and there's nothing like Christmas shopping in Disney Springs. The Christmas Tree Stroll is so much fun. Have you been to the Eat to the Beat concert series at EPCOT? It’s part of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival which runs from August 27 to Nov. 21. A few years ago I saw the Commodores. It was so much fun! These shows are included with your EPCOT admission. Here’s the lineup!
