While in the Algarve, we took a drive from Albufeira to Alte. It was such a pretty village. Spent time at the natural springs, did a short nature walk and went and viewed a beautiful waterfall. A peaceful day in the Algarve in a lovely area.

Ferragudo is a beautiful picture perfect fishing village in the Algarve in Portugal. A laid back atmosphere, full of areas to explore. We spent a half day in this pretty village, walked through the winding, multi-stepped, cobblestone streets and through areas where the residents live. So very peaceful was our day. We ended it at the waters edge walking to the fortress at the edge of Arade River. If you are wanting to get away from touristic areas in the Algarve, this is a must do. Coming to this village was one of the highlights of our time in the Algarve. We highly recommend you visit this beautiful little village when travelling to Portugal.

Finding Godzilla... a beautiful walk in the Algarve. On our last day in the Algarve, we decided to take a walk at Praia de Sao Rafael beach and see if we could find the rock formation, "Godzilla". The walk was so scenic and we enjoyed our time outdoors. The sound of the waves makes for a very peaceful ending to a lovely walk.
