So with the impending Air Canada strike, I wanted to emphasize the importance of Travel Insurance. I know I may sound like a broken record but just as an example, I purchased Allianz travel insurance in June. I am currently in Spain boarding my Silversea cruise. We are due to fly back August 20 and Air Canada's flight attendants will be in a strike position starting August 16. Instead of being wrought with stress about what ifs and how I will survive if I am stuck in Lisbon, I know that I am covered for $350 per day (up to $1500) AND the eventual cost to alternative flights home.
So rather than spending my cruise worrying, I am boarding with confidence and anticipation of my wonderful adventure. Thank you Allianz!!
