I gotta say it’s the BEST part of my job, ticking the bucket list request off of my clients to do list and watching a 75 yr old Grandma have the excitement of fishing for the first time in her life and reeling in multiple fish. Just goes to show you, your never to old to start fishing.

The most sought after and largest species of Pacific Salmon is the Chinook also known as Spring or King comes it 3 colour variations. The usual Red and then the unique White (Ivory) and Marbled varieties. The colours variations come from their genetics and ability to process the dietary pigment from a diet of shrimp, krill and crab-crustaceans. With only some 5% being the White & Marbled variety it’s prized for high oil content and firm texture with a milder and buttery flavor. One never knows what the catch is until it’s filleted.
