Referred to in the past as the "Lara Croft of consulting", Linda has both piloted planes (IFR rating) and jumped out of perfectly good planes (150+jumps). She continues to enj

oy scuba diving with her retired navy diver husband David. While both Linda and David contribute photos to this blog, David is the pro and the main editor of the pics. All ready for patio time at home on the Sunshine Coast Tourism, Canada. A lovely view with Vancouver Island in the distance. And several cruise ships a day passing by on their way to Alaska!

We were so glad we finally made it to Cairo on this trip with The Giza Pyramids and Sphinx were amazing to see up close.

Northern Lights and dark starry nights are just some of the reasons to visit the Yukon in Canada in the winter.

We spent a few days at the great before we moved to Whitehorse. So many fun winter adventures - even when the temperatures plummeted to below frigid conditions.

We missed Sainte Chapelle on every visit to Paris. So it was high on our list! Thanks to Diane at Tauck for finding 2 empty slots on the tour so we could visit.

Are you looking for travel inspiration? We had a busy personal year in 2025 when we moved to the west coast in British Columbia. But we still managed some great travel which might spark some ideas for you.

We started the year with a cruise to Norway for Northern Lights and finished in Yukon for another great light show. Cruising in the Caribbean took us to new destinations. A 2 week road trip around Sardinia showed us this delightful Italian island. A Fall trip took us to Morocco, Gibraltar and new spots in Southern Spain.
