Here's some video by Eugene in his 2009-2010 era Adventure Island (complete with standard "comfort" fins (triangle). Once we got out blowing 25kts+

Preventative Maintenance tip! - replacing the stud at the bottom of the mast support (in hull) for Pre 2016 Hobie Islands! - I'll be getting a bunch of these in stock in the next week or 2! I'd replace it now anyway!
(Also came as a memo from Hobie)

Hobie has updated this bolt and nut that secure the mast base inside the hull. This is the process of changing out any older 1/4-20 bolt with the larger 5/16...

We had no plan or destination in mind - or even if there would be enough wind to sail (we would just go "kayaking" if there wasn't) Ended up sailing to Otter...
