One of my favourite things about travelling solo is having the freedom to follow my own curiosity.

If I want to spend an extra hour wandering through a little shop, I can. If I find a café with a beautiful view, there's no rush to leave. And if I decide to change my plans completely, that's perfectly fine too.

Now I do LOVE travelling with others, but there's something very special about discovering a destination entirely at your own pace.🙂

Travelling solo has taught me to be more confident, more curious and more comfortable enjoying my own company.

And those are things that stay with you long after you return home.

Only two days till April is headed off to Portugal on what sounds like is going to be a vacation packed with things to do and nothing at all ❤️

✈️ TWO DAYS UNTIL PORTUGAL! ✈️

It’s almost time! 😍

In just TWO DAYS, my husband and I will be heading off to Portugal, and I honestly can’t believe it’s almost here!

We have so much I’m hoping to see and experience…

🏰 Exploring Sintra and its beautiful palaces
Wandering the streets of Lisbon
🌊 Exploring Albufeira and the Algarve coastline
🍷 Spending some time in Portugal’s w**e country
🥐 Making a very important stop in Belém to try those famous pastel de nata
🚤 Getting out on the water for a boat ride
🎣 Finding a traditional Portuguese fishing village
🌊 And, if the surf conditions cooperate, hopefully seeing the HUGE waves in Nazaré!

Of course, I’m also looking forward to the things you can’t put on an itinerary — wandering down a street that catches your eye, finding a little restaurant, enjoying a glass of Portuguese w**e, discovering something completely unexpected…

And this time, I get to experience it all with my husband. ❤️

A little heads-up for my clients: I’ll be away from the office while we’re in Portugal, so there may be a delay in responding to messages and emails. I’ll be checking in when I can, but I’ll also be making a conscious effort to unplug and enjoy some time away. ❤️

Less than a month to go!

The excitement is building for our upcoming Türkiye adventure with 14 wonderful women — and we’ll be following along every step of the way. ✈️

From Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar to everything else this incredible journey has in store, we can’t wait to see the adventure unfold!

In less than a month, I'll be heading to Türkiye with 14 wonderful women for an adventure we've been looking forward to for a very long time!

One of the places I'm especially excited to explore is Istanbul's famous Grand Bazaar.

We'll be wandering through centuries-old passageways filled with beautiful ceramics, colourful lanterns, handwoven textiles and treasures around every corner... not sure how to fit a Turkish lamp in my suitcase yet, but I'm willing to try!😆

What fascinates me most is the history. This incredible marketplace has been part of Istanbul's story for more than 500 years.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing some of the experiences we're looking forward to. And once we're there, I'll be taking you along for the adventure!
