Our Amazon adventure is just three weeks away and the anticipation is building.

I’ve just published a new blog post sharing what we’re most excited to see on our upcoming Amazon Riverboat Adventure in Peru — from Lima’s historic highlights to wildlife encounters deep in the Pacaya Samiria Reserve.

We’ll explore Lima for a day, fly to Iquitos (the largest city in the world you can’t reach by road!), and board the intimate G Adventures Amatista Riverboat — our home for a week of skiff excursions, community visits, night wildlife spotting, and rainforest immersion.

Some of the things we’re hoping to see:
Parrots, macaws, kingfishers, black‑collared hawks
Jaguars (fingers crossed!), capybaras, sloths, squirrel monkeys
Pink dolphins, giant otters, black caiman, Amazonian manatees
And the incredible Victoria regia water lily — with 3‑metre leaves!
