First Nation Cultural Tours provides cultural tourism to people seeking to educate themselves and others about First Nations People; in particular about the Ojibwe People and the First Nation of the Chippewas of Georgina Island. Customers are educated about the “Original People” through sensory experiences like: traditional song and dance performances, storytelling, medicinal ceremonies (smudging), eagle feather introductions, drumming circles, educational trail walks with site seeing, cuisine sampling, and various artifacts and objects. FNCT is also available for knowledge seekers off site. Schools are encouraged to book Jacob Charles to come and visit their class. A variety of workshops have been created specifically to comply with curriculum requirements. FNCT also offers Traditional Opening and Closing Ceremonies for events.
