How bad is it? Much worse than forecast. The sargassum bloom stretching across Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean is more than 20% larger than the original estimate of 31 million tonnes.

Oh goodness, so much ground covered on our Royal Irish Tour. We visited Inis Oirr (the small Aran Island) and sailed to the Cliffs of Moher. Inis Oirr has increased from 270 inhabitants to 350. There are 35 students and 12 educators. A physician and a nurse, and they do house calls to the seniors on the island. It is a 7 min flight into Doolin and costs only 37 Euros round-trip for locals. 60 Euros for tourists. The beach is gorgeous here. I'm not saying I'm ready to move, but this island spoke to me.
