As an avid adventure traveller with my 3 kids and husband, I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout Europe, Canada and the USA and most recently Iceland and Costa Rica. I am always looking for ways to create fabulous experien

ces and memories with my family through our travels. I have been travelling with my kids since they were infants and as a family of 5, I understand the reality of making travel as exciting and painless as possible. My goal is to make the whole process easier through my extraordinary attention to detail, passion for planning and love for researching the world and the experiences it has to offer. Listening to what my clients want to do and experience is the most important part of the planning process when creating a special adventure. It would be my privilege to take the planning off of your plate so that you can relax and enjoy the experience and have memories that last a lifetime.

In just over a week I will be returning to Africa but this time will be adventuring in Egypt! I am beyond excited and also overwhelmed with the packing decisions again😬😂. It is going to be hot AF and my “go to” of shorts and a tank top will not cut it.
I am secretly hoping, okay not so secretly, that tank tops will be okay but am packing to ensure that I am quite literally covered if they are not.

Getting excited to follow along and of course drop any questions below and I will do my best to get the answers for you😊

I am sad to report my first cruise has come to an end. What a fabulous opportunity to take my first sailing with about the Reflection with its truly incredible team of dedicated staff.

The most asked question: did I get sea sick

Shocking answer: no. There were a couple of times I was queasy but that was it and I only took meds on day 1.

Never fear I will be sharing more in the days and weeks to come.

But for now I can confirm I had a fabulous time both on and off the ship. I met some truly wonderful humans this week. I did not know a soul when boarding and I have left with friends for life.😘

But seriously - highly recommend. I am on day 4 of my cruise with and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The level of service, quality of food and beverage and the whole vibe is truly outstanding.

Would I recommend this brand for young families - not necessarily. I mean it is family friendly and welcome kids but it is an elevated experience and depending on your kids it may or may not be the right fit. Yet.

However, I think it a perfect fit for families with tweens and teens as well as those multi generational family groups travelling together and trying to please everyone.

Do you think this might be right for you? Let’s connect and we can figure out if this is the way to go for your next family holiday.

I am no stranger to travelling with an autoimmune disease. As a type 1 diabetic for over 35 years I know the extra care and preparation that goes into all of my travel plans to ensure that I am safe and have my worst case scenarios covered…my medical bag is packed as if I am leaving home for over a month every time even if it is a simple weekend get away. But trust me when I say, things can and do go sideways sometimes and the emergency back ups to my back ups have been used and have saved the day.

This said, I have never travelled as a parent of a child with celiac before this adventure. And it was eye opening. I knew I had to plan ahead but I also missed some things because I just didn’t know what I didn’t know. So if the following helps even one mom out there - I am happy.

I am often asked if I book more than all inclusive holidays. 100% fair question as I do book a lot of all inclusive vacations.

That said - the answer is an absolute yes I do. Today’s travel planning alone will showcase where else I can help you adventure:

What am I working on today:
✈️ adults only trip to Italy featuring Rome and Puglia before a family wedding in Naples in the fall
✈️ Multi generational trip to the Caribbean for end of November
✈️ last minute family trip to Portugal for July - yes, July
✈️ putting the finishing touches on a family vacation to Norway
✈️last travel call with clients before they head out on their adventure to France & Greece

And that’s a wrap for today! Wishing you all a fab weekend.

Friends - I am so excited for the upcoming months and the incredible destinations I will be exploring! And have to share because I cannot wait to tell you all about each adventure during and upon return.

First up - family adventure to Vancouver Island where the main event is Orca Camp with . My eldest has been obsessed with Orca since he was a wee child and his grad gift is to go an hopefully kayak with them for 3 days in their natural habitat. We are all about seeing animals where they belong and as long as the orca cooperate we will be seeing some very soon. Excited is an understatement.

Trip 2: a 6 night cruise aboard the Celebrity Reflection. This is a work trip and called a Seminar at Sea as I will be in training in the mornings learning all about Celebrity and getting to experience it all first hand. Because let’s face it - one of the best things I can do as a travel agent is travel and gain experience so that I can better advise my clients about what will work for them.

And last but not least - Egypt! I will be heading to Egypt with a fellow travel agent where we will experience a Nile Cruise and the service and itinerary provided by one of our local travel partners. I have never been to Egypt and cannot wait! I am also very excited to experience the service and expertise of our travel partners first hand.

Of the 3 - which one are you most excited to hear about?

No two families are the same—your vacations shouldn’t be either.

This summer I have families exploring closer to home - looking at you British Colombia & Newfoundland; going to the Caribbean for some flop & drop time so everyone can have a break; to exploring Europe with a combination of city & culture and ending with some beach time; to full on adventuring in Iceland and Peru.

What is meaningful and important to one family may not be to another family and that’s okay.

I work with families to create custom trips tailored to their unique needs, not cookie-cutter getaways.

Let’s plan a vacation that fits your family perfectly! 🌍✈️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

True story - if asked, I absolutely prefer to plan your family adventure from beginning to end. It allows me to thoughtfully curate an adventure with only you & yours in mind.

Reality - I am also happy to help you with where you are.

Eg. Current clients started out planning their own adventure to Munich, Amsterdam and Iceland. Then life set in - they got overwhelmed by all of the options; they didn’t have time to do the research and quite frankly didn’t want to do it anymore either - the joy of planning had left the building and resentment had set in.

Then they reached out to me.

They were open & honest about where they were with the planning and what remained to be planned and thought out. We had a call and I gathered all the details and then set to work finalizing their trip and adding in all the details - small and large from tours in each destinations, flights, hotel recommendations and even restaurant suggestions.

And here I am - putting the final details together with the last tour booked yesterday for a zodiac boat tour of the glacier lagoon Iceland.

Want/need help planning your family adventure?! I am but a DM away.

From a day full of laughter, amazing experiences and truly outstanding experiences it is the story of Jean Leon, his legacy and the intimate setting of his boutique winery that stands out as my favourite part of the day!

Don’t get me wrong - the entire day was amazing and incredible but this experience was my fave. Why!? Because personally I like off the beaten path, places not everyone goes too, that are more intimate, in touch with nature and have a story that just captures me.

And here is the amazing part…when we work together I discover what it is that makes you & yours happy, what inspires you and brings you joy and then make the recommendations for things to see & do based on YOU.

And man, after today do I have some fabulous recommendations for Stiges😘

I thought it was only fitting as I am but 24hours-ish away from departing for Europe that I share that the soon to be required ETIAS visa waiver for Canadians travelling to Europe has yet again been postponed to 2026.

When in 2026? Who knows! No firm date has been given. How will I know when it’s a requirement you ask? Simple, you connect with me and I let you know exactly what you need and when and for each destination you visit. Kinda nice having a “travel know it all” in your back pocket isn’t it😊

Ready to book Europe? Let’s chat and get the adventure started🎉🎉

Hey! It’s me…your fave family travel specialist. I know I have been quiet on social for a bit and I am here to share:
1). Still alive
2). Absolutely still planning travel
3). Coming up for air from an insanely busy winter season - both in terms of fab families travelling (120+ since 01JAN25) and planning and booking family vacations for future dates including 2026 already!
4). Getting ready to do my first work trip of 2025 - off to Spain for the first week of April and can’t wait to share
5). And just wanted to say HI…so Hi😊 (and yes I am still wearing my puffer jacket. Sigh)

Hope the beginning of 2025 has been kind to you & yours and can’t wait air to reconnect and share all things travel😘
