I was just at this resort a few months ago and highly recommend it! 🌴☀️ The beach here is absolutely beautiful, the tropical vibe is incredible, and the resort has such a fun and lively atmosphere. Great food, friendly staff, fun entertainment, and an amazing location close to everything Puerto Plata has to offer!

Just got back from Dreams Playa Mujeres and WOW WOW WOW!!!! I was completely blown away!!!!

From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy, relaxed, and honestly… just magical. The resort is stunning, but what really stood out was the vibe - it’s upscale without feeling stuffy, family-friendly but still feels like a luxury escape.

Let’s talk highlights 👇

🌊 The BEACH…
Absolutely the showstopper. Soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise water, and SO swimmable. Minimal seaweed, tons of space, and those dreamy Playa Mujeres views that just don’t quit. Easily one of the best beaches in the Cancun area.

🏊‍♀️ Pools for DAYS
There are so many pools to choose from - whether you want lively and fun, or quiet and relaxing, there’s a spot for you. Perfect for families, couples, and everything in between.

🍽️ The FOOD
SO impressed. Every meal felt like a win, but the Mediterranean restaurant was my absolute favorite - fresh, flavorful, and honestly one I’d go back to again and again. Tons of variety across the resort and no “meh” meals (which is rare!).

🎉 The VIBE
Great energy without being overwhelming. Amazing for families - kids have SO much to do - but still feels elevated and polished. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

💫 Overall
This is one of those resorts where everything just comes together - - the beach, the food, the layout, the atmosphere… it just works. It’s the kind of place you book once and immediately start thinking about your next trip back.

If you’ve been thinking about Playa Mujeres… this is your sign 👀✈️

🚨Resort Review🚨

I’ll be honest… I did NOT expect to love this resort as much as I did 😍

When I first arrived at Dreams Vista Cancun, I was actually a little iffy.
It’s not my typical style of resort that I usually gravitate toward…

But I went in with a 100% open mind—and WOW, am I glad I did ✨

🌴 The pool? Amazing
💛 The staff? Truly incredible - so friendly and attentive
🌊 The overall experience? It completely won me over

And the BEST part…

My kids said this is their #1 resort so far 👏

Which says A LOT!

🎯 Surf simulator (yes, actual surfing!)
🧗‍♂️ Rock climbing wall
🎢 So many fun kids’ areas
🏝️ A layout that just works so well for families

It’s one of those places where the kids are busy ALL day… and parents actually get to relax too 🙌 and they are so close (while still being in their own area). Win win!

The beach here wasn’t amazing - but it was better than Dreams Natura Resort & Spa.
Less seaweed, more swimmable areas… but still not what I’d call a top beach destination but the colors of the water and the view made up for it!!!

One of my personal favourite spots had to be the adults-only rooftop!!
The infinity pool up there is such a vibe - and the views are absolutely incredible overlooking the ocean.... absolutely stunning!!!!!

And the steakhouse… WOW
Easily one of the best meals we had. The food, the atmosphere, and those views at night just made it such a standout experience. It was perfect!

✨ All in all, if you’re more about pools, activities, and overall experience-this resort absolutely delivers.

✨ And now.... I’m super excited to head over to Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort for the next couple of days to see what it's all about!!!! Stay tuned for that review
