Campus Discs Campus Discs is a business that travels to university and college campuses in southern and central Ontario selling used CDs and Vinyl.

We are always on the lookout for new stock so send us a message if you have anything to sell. Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, I do not have a set schedule for the Fall 2021 term. I will be booking two to three weeks in advance so please keep checking in for updates on where I will be setting up each week. Hoping to have a set schedule for the second term in 2022.

I know that a lot of record stores or dealers follow me so I hope this post gets read by all of you. In this business there is an element of trust between buyer and seller. When i go to a large collection now, I explain that I can pay a good portion upfront and will pay the rest when I can price everything out and it’s beneficial to them as they will be paid more Anyways sometimes people reach out and want to sell a collection but they have to ship it to me as they live very far away. Usually i will send a deposit to show I am interested and when they ship it, I will send more funds then will pay the rest once I am done pricing it out. Well I got burned by the scam going around (as I learned by calling a couple of pals in the business ). I am out a little bit but this post is more a precaution to be aware of this scam. The person takes a video or pics that they find online, then they sent them to another store and come up with a story and ask for a deposit then more money afterwards . I felt I was being duped shortly after I sent the funds. Oh well, Mr “Shawn Redmond”, you got me ! Hope you and Georgette Dryden enjoy my donation to the Human Scum fund!

I don’t plan on shipping anything unless you buy a lot of them but you would have have to pay for shipping plus a proper box (shipping blows!)

If you are in the GTA or anywhere from Kingston to London, or Golden Horseshoe, I am sure I will be passing through your town at some point buying so we can arrange for me to deliver. Or you can wait until a sale in the Fall.

My pal Steve is having his large warehouse sale again this year. If you are a crate digger and love to spend a few hours looking at cheap records or 12 inch singles then you should check this out. It’s his last year doing it so what better way to spend a Sunday than looking at thousands of records? So we are less than two months away from the first sale of the school year. Now is the time where I am driving through the province buying up stock for September. If you wish to sell some or all of your collection, whether it be vinyl or CDs, the next two months is the time! I have posted before about how I purchase, genres , quantities etc but please inquire if you would like more information or check previous posts about it.

With regard to selling records, what I will ask first is what price do you want for what you are selling. (Some people have some very high expectations). If you have a large collection that needs some research, then I will offer you an amount when I get there then more after I am able to price everything out. This way, you can get a higher value at the end.

Anyways, if you wish to sell, feel free to reach out to discuss. As always, I appreciate anyone that can share this or pass along my good name.
