Full condo remodel PT. 1 - Kitchen

On this one, our clients brought us in renovate their entire condo. Pictured is their new kitchen.

In general condos can be challenging in most cases because while there may not be as many out of sight issues such as mold and rotten lumber, logistical challenges and remodel limitations can make things pretty interesting.

For Toronto, this one is as exotic as it gets. Our client fell in love with this burnt wood siding while traveling Japan. When it came time to redesign the front of their home, we went the distance and were able to import it.

As you can see from the before and after photos, we re-built the entire porch, changed the openings at the front of the home and even incorporated an upper walk out balcony. The balcony has Trex decking (for surface material (not pictured). Add in some custom window and fiberglass doors, stained cedar stair treads/tongue and groove soffit, and Indiana limestone facings and this home in Riverdale has the most unique front of home around.

This project from a few years ago saw us remove popping and crumbling interior tile from the porch and replacing it with some beautiful . The interlocking paving stones also had to go so our client select Travista. To top it off our elderly client requested a new aluminum railing up the middle to finish it off. Thanks as usual .

These photos are the result of transforming 120 year-old attic space third floor primary suite from plaster disaster to contemporary comfort zone.

Starting with a full demolition, we completely changed the layout, fully insulated, added a ductless heater/air conditioner, and built a desired modern living space for our amazing clients.

On this one we we removed an 80 year old garage and built from scratch a brand new state of the art garage. Fully insulated and finished this garage features high lift door tracks, full pot light array, epoxy floor, slot walls and storage solutions, and is ready to go for heat.

This project didn’t stop there. We went to work on the backyard. As this garage is connected to our clients backyard to tie it all together we installed new blu paving stones, some artificial turf, and a modern style fence to finish off the space. The rear of the garage was designed with a decorative garden feel to allow in light and create a presentable appearance.

From design to committee of adjustment, obtaining building permits to ex*****on, we guided our clients through the whole process and made it as easy and seamless as possible.

We feel that sometimes not enough attention is given to the less flashy elements on our often complicated work we perform for our clients. As you can see from the featured before and after photos we have installed new stairs, modified and capped new stairs, installed new/matching rift cut oak flooring, stain match on the stairs, modern styled carpet runners, and sleek custom built wrought iron railing. This is no easy feat on a century home, but our experience and craftsmanship make it happen.
