September is Save Your Photos Month (SYPM)

This year for SYPM I've created a mini-course called How to Create a Recipe Memory Photo Book. Spring has arrived which makes it a good time to remind anyone who has printed photos whether loose, in albums, or in scrapbooks, that your photos should NOT be stored in your basement or attic. Spring storms can often bring an increased chance of flooding which leaves your photos at risk. Your photos should live where you live and not be exposed to hot and dry or cold and damp areas. It is also a good idea to have a digital copy of your photos. Scanning them will give you peace of mind knowing you have a backup copy. It has the added bonus that you will be able to view your photos on your devices and easily share them with family and friends.
