La construction de la voie de guidage est en cours entre Port Credit et Eaglewood Boulevard sur la ligne Hazel McCallion. 🚧 Les Ă©quipes travaillent dur Ă  la construction de « l’emprise » en bĂ©ton qui guidera les futurs trains de transport lĂ©ger sur rail (TLR). Ce travail comprend l’installation de drainage, de bordures, de fondations pour le systĂšme Ă©lectrique aĂ©rien et de fondations pour le support de la voie.

Guideway construction is underway between Port Credit and Eaglewood Boulevard on the Hazel McCallion Line! 🚧 Crews are hard at work building the concrete “right of way” that will guide future LRT trains. This work includes installing drainage, curbs, overhead power system foundations and track support foundations.

We’ve officially wrapped up the transformation of Mary Fix Creek — 400 metres rebuilt as part of the Hazel McCallion Line project. This upgrade means better flood protection, less storm damage and a safer, more resilient community.

The elevated guideway above the 403 is making major strides!

Retaining walls are starting to take shape on the north end to support the future tracks and trains. In the central area, backfill is wrapping up and crews are preparing to build support walls. Along the guideway, concrete decks are being poured and safety barrier work is underway.

Les murs de soutĂšnement commencent Ă  prendre forme Ă  l’extrĂ©mitĂ© nord pour soutenir les futures voies et trains. The Hazel McCallion LRT will cross four separate highways including the 407. With the support structures now in place, concrete pours to form the shape of the overpass are currently underway. Once this work is complete, tracks can be laid for the future Hazel McCallion LRT.
