The Hazel McCallion LRT will cross four separate highways including the 407. With the support structures now in place, concrete pours to form the shape of the overpass are currently underway. Once this work is complete, tracks can be laid for the future Hazel McCallion LRT.
Le transport léger sur rail (TLR) Hazel McCallion traversera quatre autoroutes distinctes, y compris la 407. Big strides have been made on the elevated guideway! Late last year, the rest of the girders were installed — a key part of the bridge's superstructure.

This location will be a bustling transit hub home to the southern terminus of the Hazel McCallion Line. The LRT's only underground station will connect riders to the GO Transit station just steps away.

Progress continues on the Hazel McCallion Line! To make sure everything is just right, our team recently used a special tool called the Amberg Survey Trolley on tracks installed in and around the OMSF. This high-tech equipment checks the alignment, height, and spacing of the tracks down to the millimetre, ensuring the LRT tracks can be safely used when testing begins

Before the survey, the team power washed the tracks—because even a tiny bit of dirt could throw off the precise readings. These careful checks are all about building a smooth, safe, and reliable transit system for the future.
Les progrès se poursuivent sur la ligne Hazel McCallion! Pour nous assurer que tout est parfait, notre équipe a récemment utilisé un outil spécial appelé le chariot de sondage Amberg sur des voies installées dans et autour de l’IEER. Cet équipement de haute technologie vérifie l’alignement, la hauteur et l’espacement des voies jusqu’au millimètre près, garantissant que les voies du TLR peuvent être utilisées en toute sécurité lors des tests.

Hurontario Street has a long history of connecting communities in the Peel Region. To appreciate the role it has played in so many lives, here are some historical photos showing just how far development has come in the past 100 years. The Hazel McCallion Line will be the next step in improving connectivity in the area.

Advancements have been made at numerous intersections, particularly between Derry Road to Square One Drive and from the Queensway to Mineola Road intersections. We're excited to bring enhanced transit infrastructure to the Region of Peel!
