Hello Travelers!
A friend got laid off, invited me to Rio, and I booked the flight before I could overthink it. Burned through my American Airlines miles and went. Brazil wasn’t even on my 2026 travel list.
I landed on edge, the kind that comes from years of headlines sitting in the back of your mind.
And then something changed. Yes, Rio is a lot to take in at first. It can be loud, it makes you pay attention. But the longer I stayed, the more things made sense.
The rhythm, the energy, the way people move through the city.
I left thinking about it more than I expected to.
So I wrote the Brazil travel guide I wish I had before going.
Yes, the practical stuff, but also the context that helps you understand what you’re stepping into.
If Brazil has been on your list but you keep hesitating, I get it.
I almost talked myself out of it too.
A first-hand Brazil travel guide with visa info, safety tips, budget advice, and cultural insights from a trip to Rio de Janeiro.
