The signs are all pointing to someone here in the group enjoying a pleasant and educational bicycle tour this Saturday. The weather continues to shine.
The Canadian Digestive Health Foundation (CDHF) has a few openings in either the Short, Guided History Tour (24 km) or the Medium Tour (65km). No fundraising minimum for locals. $120 for the Short Tour and $190 for the Medium Tour.
The short(er) tour departs from Simcoe Park at 10:30 am and has winery stops at Ferox and Pilliettieri. Picnic lunch catered by Walker’s Farmers Market and the tour wraps up back around 3:30 at Queens Landing with a reception between 3-5 pm. Medium tour goes out to Charles Daley Park for lunch (Lincoln) and returns through rural NOTL.
The Lead Guide in the short tour is yours truly while the region’s number one tour guide is John Clark from St Catharines and he is leading the 65km (his family roots go back to the 1700’s locally).
Optional dinner at 6:30 pm as well for anyone interested in extending the evening or separately joining the group at Queens Landing for a three course dinner.
