If you think Florida in fall means cooler temps, think again! If you’re picturing brisk air and sipping a pumpkin spice latte while you stroll down Main Street, USA in cozy boots, NOPE. Florida’s version of fall is basically summer with pumpkins. And those lattes are iced.🎃

In reality, here’s actually what to pack for a fall trip:

☀Light, breathable layers: It’s still hot during the day, but mornings and evenings can be a little cooler.

☀Shorts and t‑shirts: Bring plenty. You’ll live in them.

☀Sun protection: Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen because the Florida sun doesn’t care what season it is.

☀Poncho or light rain jacket: For those afternoon showers.

☀Comfortable walking shoes: Do NOT plan to break in a shiny new pair at Walt Disney World.

☀A little extra spending money for the super cute Fall Disney merch at the parks.

Having one of those nostalgic moments. Anyone else remember this photo spot on Main Street USA back in the day? It was my mom’s favourite and she always insisted we stop for a photo at the flower market. This area is now a continuation of the Emporium store and while I do love to shop, I miss this quaint little area.

The last time I visited Universal Studios, i called out 🪲 🧃, 🪲 🧃, 🪲 🧃! Of course you know who appeared. My fashion icon...The reason I love the stripes...Beetlejuice!
In two weeks, I'm heading back to Universal Orlando Resort to catch up with my style bestie. Maybe we'll grab a ButterBeer...I'll keep you posted.

At the end of a wild park day, it is nice to have some extra space.
In the Lion King section at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, those two bathrooms and ample beds for everyone to just flop down in are perfection. These 565 square foot Family Suites are perfect for families of 5 or 6 or just those who want a little extra space for their home base while visiting the parks! Add in amazing themed pools, a huge foodcourt with something for everyone and access to the SkyLiner, Disney's Art of Animation will be a hit!

This was my cruise! My daughter said “some famous guy just did Karaoke in Triton Lounge”. (I’ll share her video, but don’t get too excited…lol…it’s short).
It was lovely to hear from so many guests who bumped into him that he is super nice. There wasn’t a lot of bugging for pics and we were onboard a day or two before we even knew he was sailing.

No fun at all. We are driving home from Florida and my fella refuses to take a 20 minute detour to one of West Virginia’s famous attractions. The Mystery Hole. My disappointment is great. Anyone else ever been? It gets 4.1 stars!
