CHEAPEST isn’t always CHEAPEST. 👀✈️

This is one of the biggest things I wish people knew when comparing vacation prices online.

You see $1,899 on one website and $2,049 somewhere else.

Obviously you pick $1,899… right?

Maybe. 😂

Because before I compare two vacation packages, I want to know what you’re actually getting.

🧳 Baggage — Is that cheap flight a basic fare? Are you paying extra for a carry-on or checked bag?

🚐 Transfers — Does the package actually get you from the airport to the resort and back, or is that another expense?

🛏️ Room category — One price might be for the most basic room in the resort while the other includes an oceanview, family suite or upgraded category.

✈️ The actual airfare — Basic fares can come with more restrictions and fewer inclusions. Two packages showing the same flights aren’t necessarily using the same fare type.

And sometimes the difference is only $100–$200 per person upfront…

…but once you add the bags, transfers and upgrades you actually wanted?

That “cheaper” package suddenly isn’t cheaper anymore. 🙈

This is also why screenshots of a price don’t always tell me whether you’ve found a better deal.
