60 Days. Two Wheels. Mapping the Wildest Corners of Northeast India. 🇮🇳🏍️
Before we guide our clients into the deep, untamed spaces of the world, we clear the path ourselves. I am officially neck-deep in the logistical planning for a massive 60-day motorcycle scouting expedition through Northeast India—and this route is going to be pure adventure.
We aren't sticking to the main roads. This expedition is about testing the limits of our gear, mapping out precise routes, and securing complex border permits so we can build a flawless itinerary for future group tours.
Here is a glimpse of what I'll be scouting on two wheels:
🚢 The Brahmaputra Crossing: Loading the bikes onto small, rustic wooden ferries at Dhubri to navigate the massive river flats.
🐘 The Garo Hills & Siju: Ranging through the dense, untamed jungle corridors of Meghalaya to track wild elephants.
🐒 Deban & Namdapha National Park: Heading deep into primary rainforests to locate the canopy habitats of the rare Hoolock Gibbon.
🎖️ Pangsau Pass: Riding the rugged, historic WWII Stilwell Road right up to the Myanmar border to scout the old wartime supply routes.
🏔️ The Edge of India: Pushing the bikes through intense mountain terrain all the way to the breathtaking, high-altitude landscapes of Kibithu.
At Uncharted Horizons, we don't just book trips from a desk. We ride the dirt, handle the nightmare paperwork, and find the absolute best local connections first so that when you step off the plane with us, your adventure is seamless, safe, and bucket-list worthy.
Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing a completely behind-the-scenes look at the prep—from bike modifications and technical multi-camera filming rigs to route mapping.
If you love raw, two-wheeled exploration, hit that follow button and come along for the ride. The countdown to India starts now! 🗺️✨
