A special thank you to all who came digging this year and in the past😊
Thanksgiving day just past reminded me again of how much we have to be thankful for. 33 years ago the first precious opal was found on our site😁 Since then much has transpired, mostly positive; and for that we are grateful.
I hope to see you all next season which will start in early June.

Large group Saturday; a total of 16 people and one genuine "rock hound" plus Aurum who did the rounds.
I expect that's a wrap for the year. Nobody booked going forward.

Yesterday was a great digging day. We had a large 'Home Schooling' group visit us.
Not sure who had more fun - parents or kids🤔

Lots of people are getting the message; but if you want to dig for opal this year you have to get it done soon. The season is coming to an end in early October.
