I had a lovely delivery from Queen Bee Farms today. I was so happy because I ordered one of the spa line bath bombs and it was exactly what I needed after a somewhat stressful day. A luxurious bath while sipping the Bumblebee tea was the perfect reset. 🐝

Which Monteverde Adventure Would You Choose? Tour 1 or 2?

Tour 1: Cloud Forest Walk - Pull on your poncho and boots. It’s time to head into the cloud-covered forest, past over-sized ferns and exotic orchids. Hear the haunting call of the bellbird and perhaps catch sight of the brilliant green and red resplendent quetzal

Tour 2: Hanging Bridge - Opt to see the cloud forest from above instead. Cross a series of hanging bridges to discover what biologists once required (ropes and pulleys) to glimpse the lush, green vista accented by bromeliads, vines, and orchids.

There’s a moment on every Costa Rica trip when the rainforest goes quiet… and suddenly someone whispers, “I think I see one.”
Everyone gathers under the same tree, necks craned, scanning branches like we’re on a VIP stakeout.

And then we spot it, the slowest celebrity in the jungle.
A sloth, perfectly posed, blinking at us like we’re interrupting its day.

Phones come out.
Someone gasps.
And the sloth? Completely unbothered. Living its best, slow‑motion life.

It’s one of those tiny, unforgettable moments that makes Costa Rica feel like pure magic. (And the one I'm most excited to experience next March!)
