Hello there, my name is Anthony Dockrill,
I am 36 years old and a lifetime resident of Niagara, after meeting my wonderful wife, Lindsay 10 years ago, we settled in Welland and started a family. We began our family with foster children until we filled our home with our own children. I work in the technology field as a cable technician in the Welland area as well. I also sit on the Board of Direct
ors as President at St. Davids’s Nursery School where my children attended and my youngest just started. My older ones attend St. Kevin’s Catholic Elementary School. I have always been passionate about politics on every level of government and have always planned on running for public office. I look forward to meeting all the residents of Ward 2 and serving you on city council. I have chosen to run in this municipal election because I would like to see a more controlled spending. Money in this city needs to be concentrated on more infrastructure and less ‘beautification’. I would love to see Welland open the doors for progress, lets move forward instead of standing still, lets help businesses who want to build here instead of putting up road blocks. Lets dive into some ideas to open up for more income from tourism. Lets keeps taxes down and explore ways to prevent them from going up. I have many new ideas, too many to list here, feel free to express your ideas when I am coming through the neighborhood.
