In business since 2003, Arbutus Routes first operated under the name of Whistler Outback Adventures and underwent a re-branding in 2011. Arbutus Routes specializes in guided biking and hiking tours, bike rentals and corporate team building events. Our biking and hiking tours range from a 2-hour local trip to a week-long adventure into a number of destinations across the province, including the Sea

to Sky Corridor, the Gulf Islands, Vancouver Island, the Chilcotin Mountains and the Okanagan valley. Located in the heart Whistler's Upper Village, our storefront carries a range of active and lifestyle clothing, biking apparel and accessories and a full service bike shop. Specializing in cross-country, trail, road and family bikes our fleet of bike rentals is in excess of 50 of this year's bikes. Our difference is that we truly specialize in British Columbia and have the ability to fully customize your trip to match your vision. Our local connections in the area are immediately felt by our travelers and draw you into the local culture while exploring these inspiring regions. We're still buzzing from last night's Toonie!🍻🚵

Racers kicked things off climbing up blackcomb, then we were lucky enough to climb all the way up the bobsled track!

We then traversed across to Golden B***r, Roam in the Loam, and finishing things off at Rabbit Tracks 🐇

Fast laps, loose corners, heavy legs, and good vibes all around. Big thanks to everyone who came out and to for hosting the apres afterwards 🤘

Huge thanks to the crew @ for sponsoring the event and keeping the vibes high!

We were happy to hangout and hand out prizes at the apres and big thanks to all of our staff who either took part or marshalled the event!

Next up on our STAFF RIDES series, it's our guy 🤘🏻

We had an group ride in Squamish recently, we caught up with Shaun just before the rain!

So what do we have here?

"So this is my YETI MTE, I've got a few upgrades on it namely the Conti tires back and front, the big Argotal 2.6 on the front for all the grip TRP brakes because I love the feel of them - same with the DMR death grips!"

Any other upgrades you stoked on?

"For sure, it's got the reverb AXS and GX T-type drivetrain too, which is pretty sweet and a small upgrade with the carbon aero cranks, just because! But other than that it's just great, good for skidding around!"

So where's your favorite place to ride?

"You know I haven't had it for very long, but probably my backyard in Pemberton - nice quick laps up Mackenzie there! I'd say mid power e-bikes makes it ride like a normal Enduro bike so it's pretty fun on the down!"

Favorite trails up there?

"I've got to say Mackenzie Cruise to Lower Cop Killer!"

We had the best time cheering on yesterday’s Pemberton Enduro with our pals at !

Here’s a little peek at what the crew got up to 🙌🏻
Riders took on 50km+ through the Mackenzie Basin before rolling into Mosquito Lake—legs cooked, vibes high. As always, the course kept everyone guessing (and maybe a little humbled 😅).

We wrapped things up with a proper après at the Cruz residence 🌯🍻—exactly what the day called for!

Huge shoutout to everyone who made the day happen—riders, volunteers, med crew, photographers, organizers, and all the legends in between. Such a fun one!
