After leaving Canmore, we headed toward Lake Minnewanka for our boat cruise—but, of course, we had to make a stop at the beautiful Cascades along the way.
The weather was a little drizzly and cloudy, but that certainly didn’t take away from the beauty of the mountains. We even managed to capture a couple of beautiful reflection photos along the way.
And then came the highlight we certainly couldn’t have planned!
A magnificent bighorn sheep appeared, standing proudly on the rock and seemingly posing for us—turning this way and that as if he knew he was the star of the show! What an incredible wildlife encounter and a perfect moment to capture on camera.
Then it was off to Lake Minnewanka for our boat cruise. The cruise was absolutely wonderful, and our guide was extremely informative, sharing so much interesting information about the lake and surrounding area.
Another amazing day with an amazing group of travelers! ❤️
