July 13,2026 was a wonderful day as we welcomed the first cruise ship of the 2026 season, Viking Polaris, to the beautiful port of Red Bay, Labrador.

It was a pleasure to welcome guests from around the world and to share the beauty, history, and hospitality that make Red Bay and the Labrador Straits so special. We truly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people and hearing about their travels.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make today such a memorable success—our tour guides, drivers, entertainers, local businesses, volunteers, Parks Canada staff, the Town of Red Bay, and all those working behind the scenes. July 13,2026 was a wonderful day as we welcomed the first cruise ship of the 2026 season, Viking Polaris, to the beautiful port of Red Bay, Labrador.

Let’s just say 2024 cruise ship season at beautiful Town of Town of Red Bay and Labrador Straits region has been nothing short of amazing. There has been lots of smiles, laughter, hugs, hand shakes & waves shared. What an amazing TEAM as we all love to share stories of this lovely place we are all so proud to call home.

Today we welcome National Geographic Explorer as the final ship for 2024. Thanks to each and every ship that made this port apart of their itinerary. Onward and upward for 2025 and beyond.
