🇳🇱 The Defence Line of Amsterdam is a masterpiece of water management 💦 planned to protect the country’s capital by flooding its surroundings, not allowing boats to cross as it’d be too shallow but also not allowing tanks for being too deep. The site was never used, however, it retains and now the fortifications are used as art galleries 🖼️ hotels 🏨 or restaurants 🍽️

🇿🇲/ 🇿🇼 Today is ! Rangers are the eyes and ears of nature, protecting our planet’s treasures. 🦜🌲 But they face many challenges and threats. In the Victoria Falls , have the task of protecting 24/7 a population of white 🦏 on the north side of the , as this species is in danger of extinction. 😔 To see these animals, the park staff have to communicate with the rangers, 📟 ask for their location, and then allow the tourists and their guides to get there through a dirt road. 🛻 These heroes deserve not only recognition but we must guarantee the conditions for them to fulfill their duties, not only ly in this site but all around the world! 🌎
