My stay in Benin was filled with unforgettable flavors!

Here are the ten must-try dishes that I'll miss:

1. Amiwo - Also known as pâte rouge, this delicious dish is made from cornmeal cooked in a rich tomato sauce, often served with chicken.

2. Téké - Pâte noire, a darker cornmeal dough, is served with **sauce feuille**, a leafy green sauce.

3. Akpan - A refreshing, slightly fermented corn soda that’s perfect for a hot day.

4. Baobab Juice - A tangy and nutritious drink made from the baobab fruit, full of vitamins and antioxidants.

5. Pounded Yam with Peanut Sauce - A comforting dish where smooth yam pairs beautifully with a savory, creamy peanut sauce.

6. Fresh Coconut - There's nothing like sipping on fresh coconut water and enjoying the soft meat inside.
