🌿 Discover the Verzasca Valley from a different perspective 🌿

An easy circular hike starting from Lavertezzo takes you far away from the picture-postcard images of the Roman bridge and emerald pools. Here you walk through woods and mountain pastures, along ancient transhumance trails, discovering the ingenious water system that once supplied the valley with water.

Between monolithic basins carved into the rock and hidden cisterns, you will discover a little-known side of the Verzasca Valley.

📍 Departure: church of Lavertezzo
🔄 Circular trail
⏱ approx. 2h 50
📈8km, 500 m elevation gain
