Based on the island of Kangaamiut, on the west coast of Greenland, we have access to simply the best ski terrain in the world. From kilometers-wide cruisers, to granite-wall-splitting couloirs, Greenland has it all. Lodging in our own local houses, gives us the cultural experience that makes visiting Greenland so special. Having exclusive access from mid-April to mid-May allows us to take advantage of the ideal ski season.

You’re either taking deep powder turns on glaciers above the fjords, loading up the helicopter for your next run, or, better yet, finishing a long day of skiing by hopping on the boat and cruising through Greenland’s breathtaking fjords back to the lodge. Heading to Greenland? Here are some things you should think about bringing.

🎿 SKI GEAR

• 100–110mm freeride touring skis
• Snowboard/split board
• Touring-compatible boots + poles
• Familiar, well-maintained setup

🏔️ SAFETY GEAR

• Avalanche transceiver + alpine harness — provided
• Airbag, shovel + probe — provided
• Have your own? Bring what you’re comfortable with.

🧥 LEISURE

• Warm down jacket
• Sorel or warm winter boots
• Lightweight base + mid layers
• GORE-TEX shell or waterproof
• Warm hat + visor
• Sunscreen + lip balm

Expect temps around -4°C/25°F at sea level, with colder temps as we gain elevation. when the sun is out though and the wind drops, it can get to be surprisingly warm.
