Kenya is a great land of contrasts ideal for lovers of adventure and scenery. Located at the equator and bordering the Indian Ocean to the East, it offers interesting scenes and a mix of opportunities for visitors from the white sandy beaches at the coast, open plain grasslands to the snow capped Mount Kenya and the farming highlands. You also get an opportunity not only to view the Great Rift Valley but also to sample all that it offers. Kiswahili which is a mixture of Bantu and Arabic is the national language while the official language is English. There are a total of 42 tribes with Maasai being the most famous because of their strong preservation of culture and dressing. Kenyans are a warm, welcoming people from diverse ethnic and geographical backgrounds.
