These accolades reflect Sabine’s long-standing commitment to environmental education and upcycling as a tool for positive change.

Mosman is dedicated to making sure every visitor to the Cook Islands experiences the holiday of a lifetime. She takes great pride in her role, as it allows her to help create truly memorable experiences for travelers seeking paradise.

Before returning to Island Hopper Vacations (Turama), where she began her career in Reservations, Mosman spent 5 years working at Air Rarotonga (pre-COVID). Her nine years with Island Hopper Vacations, followed by her time with Air Rarotonga, have given her a wealth of knowledge and experience, which she now brings back to her current role with great enthusiasm. Mosman feels truly fortunate to contribute her expertise to the team, especially in the post-COVID era where she can have a meaningful impact on the company and its guests.

Outside of work, Mosman enjoys an active lifestyle filled with sports, music, leisure, and socializing. She is passionate about inspiring others to live their best lives, whether that’s through her professional role or through her voluntary work within the community, especially in the areas of sports and culture. Mosman also views herself as a lifelong learner, constantly striving to grow personally and professionally.

Originally from the beautiful Fiji Islands, Jolynda took a leap of faith when she moved to the Cook Islands after university to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. While she had some initial concerns about living in a new country, it didn’t take long for her to feel right at home upon arriving.

A proud single mother to two teenagers, Jolynda works tirelessly to provide for her family. Since joining Raro Tours, she has experienced a deep sense of belonging.

To her, the company feels like one big, supportive family, something that has been invaluable to her both personally and professionally. Jolynda’s passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction she has with clients, whether direct or indirect. She finds great satisfaction in sharing the beauty, unique values, culture, and spirit of the Cook Islands with visitors. Each interaction is an opportunity to create lasting memories and, through her work, she finds it incredibly fulfilling to help others experience the paradise she calls home.

With 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jolynda still loves what she does and remains deeply passionate about her work. Her commitment and love for the industry speak volumes, and she continues to make a positive impact every day.

Aro’a Beachside Resort, an idyllic adults-only (18+) retreat located along the breathtaking western sunset coast of Rarotonga, has recently enhanced its guest experience with several exciting new amenities.

The resort now features a brand-new swimming pool, providing a refreshing alternative to the beachfront lagoon. To ensure maximum comfort, all rooms are now equipped with air conditioning—perfect for unwinding after a day in the warm tropical sun. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of on-site car, scooter, and bike rentals.

Furthermore, every Monday evening at 6:30pm, the resort hosts an Island Night and Fire Show for a truly immersive cultural experience.

Hawaiian Airlines is excited to announce key improvements to its Rarotonga service, aimed at enhancing the travel experience and strengthening connections between the Cook Islands and the United States.

Starting Sunday 15th June 2025 (pending government approval), flight HA496 from Rarotonga (RAR) to Honolulu (HNL) will shift its departure time from 11:35 PM to 1:05 PM. This new daytime schedule offers travelers a more convenient departure, ensuring smoother transitions, an improved overall journey, and better connections from Honolulu to other USA gateways.

Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines has partnered with Alaska Airlines to expand connectivity between the Cook Islands and the U.S. mainland. As of 28th February 2025, travellers can book seamless through fares linking Rarotonga to 85 destinations across the United States, making island getaways more accessible than ever.

Lavinia joined the Island Hopper Vacations reservations team as a Sales Consultant in May 2024. Her proactive approach and enthusiasm for technology allowed her to thrive in the fast-paced environment. She quickly discovered a passion for building connections with partners and tailoring travel plans to meet their needs.

Earlier this year, Lavinia transitioned into the role of Product Assistant, where she has been honing her creativity by crafting fact sheets, preparing documents, and presenting the company's offerings in engaging formats. The diversity of tasks and the opportunity to develop her creative skills continue to inspire and motivate her as she grows in this role.

Outside of work, Lavinia enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, listening to music, taking refreshing morning swims at the beach, going on island-wide drives, and unwinding with a glass of red wine.

Being part of Turama Pacific Travel Group has deepened her appreciation for the beauty of the islands, and she looks forward to seeing how innovation, particularly digital transformation, shapes the company’s future.
